WE WILL GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO SMILE ABOUT
At Allen Family Dentistry, we will give you something to smile about. Happy and healthy smiles are our priority. CALL US > ATHENS CALL US > BULLARDCALL US > PALESTINE
Treatment starts with friendly faces that greet you
It continues with the courtesy and professionalism of the doctors who serve you and those who assist.
You see, our work isn’t done until you to have a smile that says, “My teeth are healthy and attractive.” A smile that says, “I’m happy about me and my dental care.” And our commitment to your oral health? It will never end.
In the beginning
Our story started in 2005. That year Allen Family Dentistry was founded after Dr. Allen assumed the practice of Dr. Richard Campbell. After less than five years, Dr. Allen relocated and renamed the practice Crestway Park Dental.
In July of 2014, Dr. Allen welcomed Dr. Meagan Andress to his practice to ensure patients are treated in a more effective and timely manner.
In Bullard, where the Allen’s live and are raising their family, they expanded to this new market in 2014. Dr. Morgan Copeland joined the expanding Bullard Family Dentistry practice in 2018.
With two locations and two different names, rebranding debuted in 2019, going back to our original roots as Allen Family Dentistry. We not only created a new logo and an amazing website, but also, we really defined ourselves so that moving forward we all are on the same page.
2020 has brought many changes to our world. Our Palestine location opened right in the midst of the Covid-19 global pandemic. Dr. Ronald J. Cook had practiced in Palestine for over 30 years, but began battling health issues in September of 2019. Most of his staff have stayed on with AFD and are excited to bring a new wave of dental philosophy. Dr. Gonzalez, who will be joining us in August at the Palestine location, will be a wonderful addition to the AFD family – she is excited to treat patients in the Palestine area and community!
Making a dental difference
For the smile of a lifetime, the Allen Family Dentistry team, driven by a passion for excellence, offers a unique combination of training and experience to provide you with superior dental care.
It’s the Allen Difference, and it can be summed up five ways:
- Start with comprehensive dental examinations that consider how findings may impact whole body health.
- Commit to continuing education to ensure dental care that far exceeds minimum state requirements.
- Use advanced technologies to provide the precision necessary to ensure less invasive procedures and less pain.
- Use local labs to maintain American standards for speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Maintain multiple office locations for the timesaving convenience of its patients.

Our Athens combination of professional training and experience means superior dental care for you.

In 2010, Dr. Allen opened Crestway Dental Park in Athens, then Bullard Family Dentistry in 2014. Schedule a visit and meet our experienced team soon.

Our Palestine location opened in 2020. You won’t find team of friendlier, more professional folk. We’d love to meet you. Schedule a visit and get on the pathway to dental health.

The doctors of Allen Family Dentistry share a common trait – a passion for their work, diligence in treatment and care, and a dedication to continuing education to better serve their patients.
In 2012, he received his Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, and in 2020 was awarded his Mastership after completing more than 1100 hours of continuing education. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, Spear Faculty Club and the Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry.
Dr. Allen enjoys expressing his faith by donating time to the Bullard Mission House Medical Clinic and international mission trips to Romania with Serving HIM.
Dr. Allen’s focus is on providing patients with excellent, comprehensive cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He believes in the importance of continuing education and modern technology. Learning new techniques and the application of new materials allows him and the dentists in his practice to restore teeth like never before.
Brandon and wife, Brittany, have been married since July 2002. Together they enjoy raising their two children – Brynn and Bridger. Besides spending time with the family, Dr. Allen enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, coin collecting, traveling, and music.

Meagan married her husband, Ross, in 2010 and together they have two sons, Raylan and Reid. The Andress family moved back to Athens in May of 2015 to start her career at Allen Family Dentistry. Dr. Andress enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, traveling, and being outdoors. Her favorite food is chocolate and she enjoys watching her two boys play baseball and soccer.
She has recently traveled to Brazil with a Christian-based organization, called Amazon Outreach, to provide free dental care to people in need along the Amazon River. Her mission is to continue to find similar organizations that need her expertise in the future and one day bring her family with her.

At a very young age, Dr. Copeland knew that she wanted to become a dentist. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and is committed to providing them with comprehensive and compassionate care.
Dr. Copeland has planted her roots in Bullard, Texas where she recently purchased a home and lives with her boyfriend, Eric, and their three rescue cats, Todd, Jess and Frankie. In her free time, Dr. Copeland enjoys spending time with her family, shopping, yoga and trying out new restaurants.

She absolutely loves her chosen career of general dentistry and looks forward to serving families every day in this capacity. Upon finishing dental school in Dallas, Dr. Gonzalez chose to continue her education and was accepted for training at the Yale New Haven Hospital general practice residency treating medically complex patients, full-mouth reconstructions, special needs patients and on-call dental emergencies. She is passionate about both high-end artistry and craft of dentistry, using the latest evidence-based materials and technology as well as missionary dentistry.
Dr. Gonzalez strongly believes in open and clear communication with patients and listens to patient’s goals to achieve individualized treatment for each patient, as well as comprehensive interdisciplinary care with specialists when necessary.
Dr. Gonzalez’s favorite activities outside of dentistry include reading, crafts and dancing.

CARING STAFF
A friendly demeanor, attention to patient needs and a dedication to detail are the hallmarks of the caring staff who meet, greet and treat all who walk through the doors of Allen Family Dentistry in Athens and Bullard.
God surprised she and Brandon with both of their children. Brynn and Bridger are wonderful human beings and the Allens have enjoyed raising them more than they will ever know. The Allens are a very close family and spend most of their free time together. They all love to travel, enjoy outdoor activities, playing games, and serving their church and others.
On a personal note, Brittany is a type-A personality, which basically means she loves to stay busy and seek perfection. Brittany grew up in Palestine, Texas. She loves cooking, cross stitch, cats, cars and continuing education. Her favorite color is purple and she loves shoes! She graduated with her MBA from Baylor in 2019 to support their mission of being a wonderful dental practice to their patients and colleagues. She never thought in her wildest dreams she would be what she is today, but she is obedient to God’s calling. She absolutely loves working with her husband and their team.
“Rise and go, your faith has made you well.” Luke 17:19 is the verse that leads Brittany’s life. She lives with rheumatoid arthritis, but with God’s help she is able to overcome the daily nuances with grace and perseverance.

She is a fitness junkie and a certified personal trainer! Sports and fitness keep her family going! Her daughter, Bellamy, is an avid gymnast – always flipping and jumping! She and her husband, Jason, bond over college football, Texas country music and good food!
Fun facts: Hannah has ran 8 half marathons, over 30 5k races and won second place in the “East Texas Fittest” Crossfit Competition

When she isn’t out spreading the word about Allen Family Dentistry’s services to the community, you can find her slinging paint on this or that and teaching a painting class event in her spare time. She is passionate about the arts and loves to be active in local charities and causes that support the arts.
Tiffany’s favorites include reading, vintage furniture, baseball and dancing. Although she has many past times that she enjoys, her favorite memories are always made while sitting around the table breaking bread with her family and friends.
