COVID-19/Coronavirus Patient Update

Dear Allen Family Dentistry Patients,

First, we would like to thank all our patients who place their trust in our offices to provide you with the highest quality of care. As always, the health and safety of our patients is our primary concern and we continue to carefully monitor guidelines and recommendations from the CDC, the American Dental Association and other leading authorities.  We pride ourselves on providing exceptional care including stringent sterilizationand infection control protocols and procedures.  After evaluating the most current information and guidelines we remain confident in our ability to provide dental care in a safe and healthy environment and will remain open to serve our patients.  We will continue to monitor our sources along with local public health officials and will make changes as necessary.

So, if you are healthy, come see us!  Here is a list of modifications we will be implementing during this season:

 • Please call to reschedule your appointment if you or any family member is showing signs of acute illness, including fever, shortness of breath, or any other flu-like symptoms within the last 14 days.

 • Please limit additional persons accompanying you to your dental visit as much as possible to implement social distancing and help us limit the number of people in our office.

• We will be implementing temperature screening at the front desk during check-in

• Each patient will use an anti-viral/anti-bacterial pre-rinse to reduce oral microbes to protect our patients and our staff members

Finally, we would like to say that we have faith in our Lord and Savior. We remain confident of God’s steadfast presence and careful attention to all that is happening.  We pray for those individuals and families who are or will be affected by this virus.  We also pray for the doctors and medical professionals who are on the front line caring for patients and those that are working on treatments or a potential vaccine.  We continue to remind each other that He is in control and will see us through these troubling times!  If you have any questions about your dental care, please feel free to reach out to us.  Thank you all for your support and we look forward to getting through this together!

Dr. J. Brandon Allen
