What is Implant Dentistry?

A secure, natural solution for missing teeth.

Dental implants are small titanium posts that are surgically placed into your jawbone to replace missing teeth. Once healed, a dental crown is attached to the post, giving you a replacement that looks and functions just like your natural teeth.

At Allen Family Dentistry our expert team of doctors uses advanced techniques to ensure a comfortable and successful procedure.

Patients often come to us feeling discouraged from missing teeth or unstable dentures. They may struggle with chewing, speaking, or smiling confidently. But with dental implants, these problems can be resolved—permanently.

From your initial consultation to your final smile reveal, our dentist and care team will guide you through every step of this transformative treatment.

Restore your confidence with dental implants from Allen Family Dentistry.

Missing teeth can be more than a cosmetic issue—they can affect how you speak, eat, and feel about yourself. Over time, they may even cause bone loss and shifting of your natural teeth.

At Allen Family Dentistry we understand how frustrating this can be. That is why our expert team of doctors offers dental implants—a long-lasting solution designed to restore your smile and improve your quality of life.

5 possible issues fixed with dental implants:

  •  Trouble chewing or biting because of missing teeth

  •  Shifting or overcrowded natural teeth
  •  Bone loss in the jaw from missing tooth roots
  •  Poorly fitting dentures causing discomfort

At Allen Family Dentistry, we are here to help you feel proud of your smile again—with personalized implant treatment that fits your lifestyle.

Why Dental Implants Are Worth It

A confident, functional smile starts with strong foundations.

Natural Look and Feel

Dental implants mimic the look and function of your natural teeth. Once placed, they blend seamlessly with your smile and allow you to eat, speak, and laugh with total confidence.

Long-term Solution

Unlike temporary options, implants are built to last. With proper dental care, they can last a lifetime, giving you a strong, stable solution without constant repairs.

Prevents Bone Loss

When you lose teeth, your jawbone can weaken over time. Dental implants help stimulate the bone, just like natural tooth roots, preserving your facial structure and preventing further issues.

Supports Overall Dental Health

Implants help maintain the alignment of surrounding teeth and reduce the risk of tooth decay, gum disease, and shifting—supporting your entire smile’s health and balance.

Beauty & Function in One Treatment

How do dental implants work?

Consultation

Get dental implants in  by scheduling an initial consultation to determine if you’re a candidate. Patients must be in overall good health with healthy gums and adequate jawbone.

Implant

We safely place a small metal post (implant) into the socket, where it fuses with the jawbone. This provides the necessary structure for normal tooth function. Once healed, we attach an abutment (connector) to the fixed base.

Restoration

Our dentist works with a high-quality lab and our in-house CEREC® machineLearn more about CEREC® to create your custom tooth replacement. Depending on your needs, this may be a crown, bridge, or denture. Then, we attach the replacement to the implant to complete your smile.
